About these terms

These terms apply to anyone using masshshockey.com (“MassHSHockey”, “we”). By using the site you agree to them. Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal information.

Schedules, scores and standings

We work hard to keep the site accurate, but schedules change, games are postponed, and scores are sometimes reported before they are confirmed (the site marks those “Reported”). The site is not an official source: for game times, locations, tournament seeding and eligibility, rely on the schools, the leagues and the MIAA. MassHSHockey is independent and is not run by the MIAA or by any school.

Found a mistake? Use “Report a correction” at the bottom of any page.

Using and sharing our content

You are welcome to:

• link to any page, and share screenshots and the “Share this game” score images on social media, in school newsletters and in team communications;
• quote individual results, records and standings, with a mention of MassHSHockey.

Please do not, without our written permission:

• copy the site's schedules, results, rosters, statistics or history in bulk, or republish them as a database or a competing service;
• use automated tools to collect data from the site beyond what our robots.txt file allows, or in a way that slows the site down for others;
• use player information for recruiting lists, marketing or any purpose other than following the game.

The compilation of schedules, results, standings and history on this site, and its design, belong to MassHSHockey. School names, logos and colours belong to the schools and are shown to identify their teams; a school can ask us to change or remove its logo through the request form.

Staff, coach and athletic director accounts

Accounts are given to people who keep schedules and scores up to date. If you have one:

• keep your password to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else has used your account;
• enter only accurate information, and only for the teams you are responsible for;
• choose for yourself whether your own email and phone are shown on your team's page.

We may correct, hold back or remove anything entered through an account, and may suspend an account that is misused.

What you send us

When you send a correction, a schedule, a score or a roster, you confirm that it is accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you may share it, and you allow us to publish it and edit it for accuracy and style.

Ads and other websites

Advertisers are responsible for their ads and their offers. Links to other websites, such as HNIB News, are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for those sites.

No warranty, limited liability

The site is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, MassHSHockey is not liable for any loss that comes from using the site or relying on it, such as travelling to a game whose time or place changed.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version. These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
